Talking to the API…

Instagram profiles are either public or private. That setting decides what strangers can see.
On a public account, anyone can browse posts (and usually stories) without following. CapzView Public mode is built for those lookups — enter a username and review available bio, counts, and posts from our API.
On a private account, posts and stories stay hidden until the owner accepts a Follow request in Instagram. That is the normal, official way to get access. CapzView Private mode is a separate unlock flow on our site — we never ask for your Instagram password.
We don’t ask for Instagram passwords. We don’t provide Direct Message access. We don’t encourage harassment or fake accounts to get around someone’s privacy settings.
If you need to see a private feed the official way: open Instagram → profile → Follow → wait for acceptance. Once approved, posts and stories appear normally in the app.
